I was very pleased with Lynn's attentiveness as well as the manner in which she handled our case. Not only would I recommend her as a wonderful attorney, but I would use her again.
Ms Sturges paid very little attention to my case which was dragged out over the course of a year and a half. When I attempted to negotiate a payment schedule based on the 60,000 I had paid out over the course of the case, "she threatened to have me held in contempt". Communications were either slow, or non-existent, except for the matter of her fees... Those communications were "lightening fast."
I contracted with Lynn Sturges on a modification, ended up with nothing modified and me being stuck for not only her $3,000 fee, but also $5,000 of my Ex wife's. Lynn was NEVER PROACTIVE, NEVER iniated anything unless I sent her dozens of emails, phone calls,or office visits. She got totally whipped by my ex's attorney, Margaret Washburn. I wasted 13 months of very stressful time dealing with Lynn Sturges, it was the worst legal hire decision that I've ever made. LOOK ELSWHERE...PERIOD
Poor communication and follow-up by attorney and office.
Unknowledgable about retirement accounts and taxes related to marital division of assets. Very poor communication; multiple unanswered emails and phone messages. Client not updated or informed of current case status.
