I hired Shayna Sonnier for a family law matter and she was extremely efficient, caring and always seemed knowledgeable regarding the facts of my case. It was an overall pleasant experience for me and I recommend her to everyone.
I used Sonnier, she continuously talked down to me as if I were not worth her time. She spoke very fast, like she was trying to slip things by me. When I asked her to repeat something, she acted annoyed. She was extremely careful with her verbiage and did not speak in laymans terms when I asked her to. A very simple succession took her many months to complete and she charged me an absurd amount for it. I made numerous phone calls and messages before she would return them. Very dissatisfied!!!
I hired Mr. Trevino to be my attorney in a case that was centered around a tax issue. When I met with him for the initial consultation, it was clear he was drunk or under the influence of some substance. Sensing this, I hired another attorney, who was more serious about my case. Years later, I found out he was disbarred in Louisiana for a DUI. I hope he has gotten the help he needs and wish him well but am grateful for dodging that bullet. Just make sure you fully check him out and his checkered past.
