Hired Skipper multiple times and the process was a breeze . No complaints here I appreciate the knowledge Skipper provides and the time it took to file the proceedings were minimal. Don't worry about someone trying to pull the wool over your eyes Skipper is a rock star he's got their game.
Very knowledgeable regarding land law.
DO NOT HIRE SKIPPER DROST!!! I hired Skipper Drost because he made promises that he could help me and my children with a tax issue on my house. Skipper Drost didn't do anything he promised. Me and my kids lost everything. Then he blamed the other side and said we were gonna file a lawsuit. Skipper never filed the lawsuit because he knew he was at fault. After I emailed him daily for a year he refunded the 4000 I paid him. By that time it was too late for me to sue him. He knew that and strung me along. He's an awful human. I'm filing a formal complaint. I hope Skipper gets the punishment he deserves. I've since found out he has other complaints.
I hired Skipper and it was the worst mistake of my life. He made piles of promises then delivered nothing. He eventually refunded me my money after I emailed him daily for over a year. But me and my kids lost everything due to his absolute neglect of doing his due diligence. I'm in the process of filing a proper complaint. I'm hoping Skipper gets the punishment he deserves. I've since learned he has had other complaints.
Referred to Skipper Drost by realtor acting as a dual realtor. I was buyer. Towards closing on house, ran into issues with seller. Realtor didn't inform me Skipper Drost is their realty attorney. The referral was to assist me on issues the seller regarding his demand to live in our house after closing rent free for 60 days. The Realtor was negligent in writing the contract. I had a long conversation with Skipper Drost. He never advised me he's the attorney for Century 21 Lake Charles. It was a blatant conflict of interest. Skipper Drost withheld critical information from me in order to gain information from me regarding my legal intentions. He pretended that he would help me. He told me to send him the contract by email and he would give me options. Once he got the contract, he never called back and he would not return my calls or email. My confidential information was used against me by both Skipper, the broker & realtors. A formal complaint is forthcoming to the Louisiana State Bar
