Harvey Barber sounded tough to start out but in the end he rolled over to and give in to anything my x-wife ask for. Harvey for sure NOT a fighter for me. He mostly fell for all they presented without question. From the start i thought Mr Scott would be my attorney but was assigned Mr Barbee.

I made the mistake of googling lawyers near me and found this firm. I have no experience with the law or divorce, and put my trust in someone I did not know whatsoever. It was the worst experience of my 63 years! It cost me thousands of dollars for an uncontested simple paperwork divorce. I lost thousands of dollars during the process when the market fell because of their slow work. I could not ask them any questions because I would get a bill if I did. When you went in to speak with them they would talk for hours if you let them over explaining everything to run your time up. They will put the blame back on me because that’s what they do. GO ELSEWHERE!

Spent a lot of money with Scott Law to get NO WHERE!!!! This was the biggest mistake, I would recommend anyone that is looking to this attorney to look else ware, You will spend a lot of money and end up having to hire another attorney in the end. I was told per the office that the person who usually wins a family law case is one who is "willing to spend more money"

They never contacted me for anything. I called a couple times to check up on the process and they gave me little to no information. My case was continued 4 times, making me drive 3 hours each time, and the only reason I got was on the last time, which was because they had made a mistake on the letter to the DA. In the end, I still ended up with points on my license despite the fact I had a clean record and their promise otherwise. They were also late to court.

Spent thousands. Made no change to my legal situation. Many false promises made. Representation was unprepared, unfocussed, and unprofessional.

Harvey Barbee was incredibly irresponsible & uncommunicative. His disinterest in our case cost us custody and also repeatedly allowed inaccurate information to be entered into court documents. When calling their office you always were stone-walled at the front desk. Returning phone calls and discussing your case seemed to be an inconvenience. I would warn anyone considering Scott Law Offices to save their money and time for an attorney that cares about your case and that will work for you.
