Hired Law Firm

We hired this law firm to represent us in two injunction cases. We paid them $4,000 for these. Result: settled at court--hearing dismissed. The other party to the initial case filed an injunction against us. Our attorney said the courts typically do not allow cross-injunctions. The court date for this injunction was 1 week later than the initial case; and was totally dismissed by the court. Naturally we asked for our $2,500 paid to law firm to be refunded. We were offered half, although no work had been done on the case. To get our own money back, we were sent a ridiculously over the top statement that made us sound like criminals. I countered at $2,000 and it was refused. This practice sent us numerous emails back and forth, where we were threatened, bullied, and facts were manipulated to suit them, in order for them to keep the additional $2,500 for the dismissed complaint. Bottom line, this could happen to you. Again this case was dismissed and no work was performed.
