On the I-129 form, it gives the option for my alien fiance's U.S social security number, what do I put down?

Answered by attorney Michael Alexander Yurasov-Lichtenberg (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Havens Lichtenberg PLLC
Most likely, your alien fiance does not have a Social Security number (unless he had been working in the U.S., with USCIS authorization, before). If so, write "none" in the appropriate section of the form. G-28 is the form that your attorney would submit. Since you don't have anyone representing you, leave that section blank or write "n/a" in it.

If I got my US citizenship 2 years ago and I have a 9 year old son in the Philippines, how can I petition him?

You should go through the regular procedure for petitioning for a relative. However I recommend consulting an attorney to review your case history.

Can I travel internationally with a pending traffic ticket (classified as a misdemeanor) in Michigan?

Answered by attorney Alan Lee
Immigration lawyer at Alan Lee Arthur Lee, Attorneys at Law
It is probable that you will be able to renew your F-1 visa as your offense is a pending traffic ticket, but kindly note that the DS-160 visa application form asks whether you have ever been arrested or convicted for any offense or crime. You have not said whether you were arrested, but if not, your offense would not have to be disclosed unless you were directly asked about it during the visa renewal process.
