Will marriage stop my boyfriend from being deported?

Answered by attorney Kevin L. Dixler
Immigration lawyer at Law Office of Kevin L. Dixler
Perhaps, but more information is needed. It is unclear if marriage, alone, will have an impact. However, if his attorney is negotiating with prosecutors, then I strongly recommend that your boyfriend hire a competent and experienced immigration attorney now before a final trial or plea. His criminal attorney may not understand the legal details that can lead to a less significant conviction. Sometimes, sentencing modifications can make a difference.

How can i get a work visa for u.s.

Answered by attorney Alan Lee
Immigration lawyer at Alan Lee Arthur Lee, Attorneys at Law
If your fiancé is a US citizen, he or she can file a K-1 fiancé petition on your behalf. When you come to the US, you would marry within 90 days and apply for an adjustment of status through form I-485 and an employment authorization application through form I-765. If you would like to otherwise obtain a work visa or a visitors visa/work visa while here, you should consult with an immigration lawyer to go over your options. My individual court hearing case about my immigration status(asylum) is next year August,is it still possible for me to change to another state?

Answered by attorney Kenneth G. Wincorn
Immigration lawyer at Law Offices of Kenneth G. Wincorn & Associates, P.C.
Your attorney shoud file a motion to change venue and see it it will be granted. If the witnesses are where you want it transferred and and there are other resons proving  that it is a more convenient forum there is a chance.
