If you are married to a US citizen or you have US kids who are over 21, you entered the US legally and have no serious criminal convictions, then you may be eligible. Why don't you make an appointment with a competent immigration attorney for a one hour consultaton to find out!

Should I get naturalization before I sponsor my niece for immigration purposes?

Answered by attorney Lynne Rogers Feldman
Immigration lawyer at Feldman Feldman Associates, PC
What type of sponsorship are you talking about - adoption? To get immigration benefits she must be under 16 at the time of adoption? I would be happy to consult with you on your case. I do charge for consultations but whatever is paid for the consultation would be a credit toward the fees for your case if you retain us for further work after the consult. The consultation can be scheduled as indicated below by contacting my secretary, Janet, by phone or by email.

Change of role in a different company after I-140 approval

Answered by attorney Harun Kazmi
Immigration lawyer at Kazmi & Sakata
Hello. Yes, you can as long as the I-140 remains valid. You will need to somehow verify that your current company does not cancel the I-140. There is no obligation for them to hire or offer you the I-140 job. They just need to keep the case open. Let me know if you need help with the new H1b.
