Will I be in trouble in applying for a green card because I am not allowed to work before?

Yes, unauthorized employment could make you ineligible for an adjustment of status to permanent residence. If your spouse is eligible for naturalization, she should apply ASAP as marriage to a US citizen will cure the issue.

How can I fix my fiance's legal status if he came to the US illegally?

Answered by attorney Alena Shautsova
Immigration lawyer at Law Offices of Alena Shautsova
It depends on many different factors. How old was he when he came here? Are you a US citizen? The best solution is to meet with an attorney and talk about it in private.

What are the chances of deportation if we get married and I give him his bond?

It is very difficult to say. A person can be deported within 24 hours after taking him/her into custody. You should act as soon as you can to bond him out and retain a lawyer to initiate or probably even respond to any possible proceedings.
