Will my wife get deported for being in a car accident?

Alan Rodolfo Diamante
Answered by attorney Alan Rodolfo Diamante (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Law Offices of Alan R. Diamante APLC
No. However, if she is in the U.S. undocumented, she can be deported for that. If she is a resident, a car accident or driving without a licence is not a deportable offense.

How do I obtain citizenship if I lost my visa?

Answered by attorney William D. Fong (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Fong Ilagan
If you entered lawfully, even if you lost your passport and visa, and are married to a US citizen; you can file for your permanent residence now, in the US. Under section 245(a), you will not need to leave the US unless there are other immigration or criminal violations. Consult with an experienced immigration attorney immediately.

If a CR1 visa is to expire in November 2015, should the person renew it if he wishes to stay in the US beyond the expiration?

Answered by attorney Alena Shautsova
Immigration lawyer at Law Offices of Alena Shautsova
This person is probably admitted to the US as a conditional permanent resident and does not need a visa anymore, but should use his/her green card for travel.
