Once someone is here with a green card, it's a little late to ask for the petition to be revoked. If there is some sort of fraud, perhaps you could complain to Homeland Security.

He should become a US citizen, then he can sponsor his wife relatively quickly, provided they will qualify for I-601A provisional waiver, or some other option.
