Immigration lawyer at Havens Lichtenberg PLLC
You must file a Form I-864 Affidavit of Support even if you have no income at all; and, so long as there is a second Affidavit of Support from a valid co-sponsor, your financial difficulties will not interfere with your husband's ability to receive a green card.

If you can find an H1B employer with an approved petition then yoch's an change status.  However, new H1B visas will not be approved until April of 2014 and your B1 status will have expired by then, so you will have to find an employer wiapproval proved petition.

In my opinion it is a good idea to include all of those items. This helps the officer to determine that your relationship is legitimate.
