Can I leave the US to go to Mexico for vacation while on F-1 visa?

Answered by attorney Bruce A. Coane (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Coane & Associates, PLLC
Generally, every visa holder is free to leave the USA. The real question is whether you can get back in, and of course that's up to the discretion of the officer at the port of entry. Any person desiring to come back will want to make sure that they are not inadmissible, that they have proper entry papers (visa, etc), and in the case of a student, their I-20, student ID, maybe transcript and proof they are registered full-time for next semester, etc.

I129f k1 visa

Answered by attorney Stephen Arnold Black
Immigration lawyer at The Law Office of Stephen A. Black
No. Approval of the I-129f is just the first leg of the journey. The file is then sent to the NVC for further processing and then shipped off to the US Consulate in the Fiancé's home country for final processing. The immigrant will need to obtain police clearance certificates from every country he lived in for at least 6 months, after the age of 16.

I am USA citizen and I want to file for my husband do apply with immigration attorney would it speed the time zone plz help I don't know what to choos

Answered by attorney Maria Teresa Miller

It would be helpful to have an attorney assist you with the process because they know what they are doing. Many times when people file on their own, they may make a mistake and this can slow down the process. I would hire an attorney.
