Were it not for Matt's diligence and tenacity it is unlikely we would have ever recovered and money in our case. It was only after several appeals that a decision to pay our account was rendered.

Matt handled my auto accident claim and worked hard and even got me benefits I didn't know were available to me like wage loss reimbursement from my own insurance while I couldn't work. His staff was helpful and seemed to really care about my case even though it wasn't a huge one. He was very knowledgable and seemed confident that we would have a positive outcome and we did. I had a terrible car accident in 2009 - not much for health insurance and lots of bills. The insurance company for the guy at fault didn't want to pay me for my injuries or any pain and suffering. I retained Mr. Bretz's office and he got right on it. After a several month fight with their company, I received a pretty awesome settlement, and Mr. Bretz also negotiated my health insurance bills for me.

In light of what happened, I am glad I called Bretz & Young. I received all the help I needed in a timely manner. Everyone at the office was very professional. Workers' Compensation was not taking care of me, and everyone (including my boss) told me to get an attorney.Bretz & Young got involved and made the process so much better!

My brother was in a terrible accident. We had a previous attorney who just told us to settle. Then we hired Bretz & Young and they actually investigated the situation to find compensation. I would recommend anyone who is injured call Bretz & Young.

Hired Attorney Matthew Bretz

Mr. Bretz should consider explaining the legal process and settlement strategy, including settlement documents to clients in detail. In my case, it seems he took the approach of settling with the insurance company for the lowest amount. He refused to negotiate with the insurance company for more money even at the client request. {para}In addition, his office work is sloppy. The settlement checks were made out the wrong parties for incorrect amounts. Still awaiting my settlement check.

I obtained a settlement for this client 7 times more than she was offered before hiring us. The client accepted the amount verbally and in writing. The settlement check was sent on a rush bases, but the client took almost 30 days to sign the release.
