Overall effective needs to stay up on opportunities for clients in the mortgage industry
We were told that we would have a better credit score and be able to finance things like a car or home after, and we are having a hard time getting any credit. The only good thing that came out of it was the fact that the creditors quit calling. I just felt like we were done wrong due to the fact that there was no one to explain things to us properly. We have found out more with online research than with them. I feel like I wasted my money.
Just poor service.
I was in tears leaving his office because he doesn't know how to talk to people. With going through something I have never done before and not sure if I wanted to continue, did not leave me with a good feeling to continue the process. And he wasn't even there when we went to court.
In initial phase in securing fees, no negative opinion of firm
Being a fairly under educated and poorly informed individual in personal finance I chose to seek out legal advice for my personal financial situation. It was in their opinion that I should file a chapter 13. Anyway it was the worst decision i could have possibly made. I chose to do so under the impression this was the last, only, and best decision I could make according to their experience, and opinion under the circumstances of my situation. Absolutely the worst communication!!
Saw lawyer only twice. Saw & communicated via email with several different paralegals. No preparation for Meeting of Creditors. Represented by someone I had never met before. Had to request my own reaffirmation agreements-opposite of info provided before I made payment to the law firm. Was asked for documentation (via mailed letters) that at least 2 of the paralegals knew up front that I did not have. Appointments were never kept on time. Different paralegals assigned without notification
wait time on the phone is way to long. Also when a client receives something in the mail, something that is alarming, you should have a quick response time!
Poor quality company. Always looking for more money after the courts take all but #v 5.00 per month of our disposable income. And more fees to fix what this firm messed up on.
