Begged me to take my case then dropped my high and dry after 8 months and didn’t even call and tell me or call me back to explain I found out cuz I got a letter from Social security saying they dropped me for both my kids. Not worth the bs I would retain other lawyers I should have gone with my instincts and done this in the first place now I’m sitting here waiting on my court date for the appeal lawyers scrambling to find a new lawyer and I don’t even know why they dropped us to start with. I also had to do all my own calling to update them and send them paperwork and blah blah blah the girl named Ashley did not go out on her own and get stuff or know anything unless I told her.
I do not like the fact that not only do you have to contact them only by email, but they are not trustworthy.
The paralegal I had was not attentive to my case. The only communication that Higgins and Associates would accept is by email. You could not call them and talk to them. Therefore any email I would send would not get answered or the person would not get in touch with me at a reasonable amount of time.
