Amber is very professional both inside and outside the courtroom. Any alternative actions are explained with the pros and cons of each along with her personal recommendation. Lack of Communication. An unknown associate surprisingly handled our adoption case in court. We were not notified by Ms James but feel she should have personally notified us. Staff continuously made typographical errors even having the information readily available. Overall satisfied that the legal issue is complete
My D @ office and mediator. A male, I thought I to have an excellent outcome. Me, loyal husband, recovering from cancer. I would have been better off going to court as my attorney sat across from me for 5 hours and virtually worked on other items while negotiations were goin on. After 22 yrs of marriage and my ex leaving me after learning of my health, and not working for the first time. I thought my wife would have had to support me and get me insurance. The settlement should have been at least 50/50 but ended up being 70w/30m. Also, I had to pay $165K to my ex, which I borrowed the funds. I also gave her a 2nd home w/ 10 acres on Smith lake. When all was signed, my attorney said I shouldn't have gave her any money and I would have bought that lake property from you!? I was like, you should have said something before it was signed. My ex, now a millionaire and I am eligible for Medicare due to low income. My ex played the victim card and they fell for it. Ex walked away smiling
New beginnings scammed me out of $5400 and dropped my child support case for refusing to request 48 months of overpayment because of intimidation obviously by Judge Mann. New Beginnings lawyers are unethical and never available to the client and we didn’t even go to court. 0.5h when trying to get reimbursed they billed me $350 per email response. The only request I had was to apply the state formula that’s it. Yup after my son is now 20 years old. The system is still doing over payments, and New beginnings refuses to request those over payments out of fear of the Alabama county court system. Chargin 14 and some odd hours for reading emails and I actually filed the case before I hired them.
