After getting divorced in 2003 I had gone through 4 different lawyers while trying to get custody of my son. At that time he was in danger living with an unstable parent and until I hired the Herrington Law Firm no lawyer cared much about anything other than money. The Herrington Law Firm is key to the reason my son is with me full time, enjoying a productive life and safe in a stable environment.

Cathy took a personal interest in my case & made me feel very comfortable about my chances with possible outcomes. Her advice about how to interact, and how not to, with my ex-wife eliminated unnecessary complications which I otherwise might not have avoided. Her professional handling of my case and good standing with the judges in my court further ensured a favorable outcome in my proceedings. I have recommended Cathy to several friends, and I know personally of at least one positive result.

Cathy is brilliant. She made the child support modification process straightforward and painless. She's well-respected in the Houston family court; there were complications during my hearing, and I just sat there while she scrambled to make last-minute paperwork changes the clerks requested, and we were still in and out in 20 minutes.

Hired Attorney Catherine "Cathy" Herrington Hale

Cathy lost me millions of dollars because she would not do her job. Every temporary order was violated yet she would not file a case against it. Turned out she didn’t even file my temp orders for months after I thought they had been filed. She never seemed to try to get the documents from the other side- one being my ex tax return - he submitted it less than 24 hr before the mediation. It was 800% higher than what the previous year was and she didn’t even think about postponing . I am just so disappointed that she stopped working for me and honestly seemed like she was in his side. It’s caused me to have a pretty rough few years. And when I ask her to confront my concerns she is just not ever there .

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
