I paid over $7,400 for an EB1A petition with this firm, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The petition they prepared was poorly written and lacked a strong, coherent narrative. After the case was mishandled, I switched to another law firm—and with their help, my EB1A petition was approved by USCIS on the first attempt. Comparing the two petition letters, the difference in quality is stark. The new firm's work was detailed, persuasive, and tailored to my profile, whereas the original petition felt generic and careless. I would advise others to carefully review sample work and assess responsiveness before committing such a significant investment.
I paid $250 for a consultation with Jose Perez and another lady that I don't recall the name on March. I already had sent a summary of my case to the attorneys to review so that the consultation would be efficient. As soon as I joined the zoom meeting, they were actually talking bad about me, mocking me with my situation. After they realized I was already attending the zoom meeting, the lady seemed panicked. Since I was in a very urgent situation, I held it in and decided to continue with the consultation. During the whole time of consultation from the beginning, I am not exaggerating, they were basically mocking me and trying to 'educate' me. I literally felt like I am bullied the whole time. Jose pretends as if he is giving an example and he makes an example that actually diminishes me or hurts me purposefully. Moreover, Jose kept on trying to end the consultation without giving me a single advice on what my options are.
They are an HORRIBLE immigration attorney group. They (Attorney, Jeff Thomas) missed filing I-485 for one of my friends and they had 45 days to file it. All the while, they gave an impression that everything's under control and the petition will be filed. And the funny part it is, they are resisting the return the filing fee claiming that they finished all the paperwork. They don't even have an iota remorse that they made a mistake. Wrong documentation, missed deadlines, the list is endless.
I was referred by a previous client but sadly I had a horrible experience , the value for money is zero, I did not have a pleasant experience neither with the partner nor with the paralegal. They were not organised at all, one time they forgot I have had an appointment, regrettably I made the journey to find out that the person I supposed to meet was not in the office and forgot to email or call me. I would defiantly, will NOT recommend them to anyone.
Called to schedule a phone consultation. Was transferred a couple of times, and then was told they'd call me back, which seemed kind of strange as I was thinking all they needed to do was to find an open spot on the calendar. In any case, no one called me back. After about 4 days, I tried sending them an email with some background information regarding my issue. I did get a quick response, but again no response after I tried to schedule an appointment even though 3 ppl were copied on the email.
The lawyers I hired (one was a partner) were not very straightforward, theatrical almost. Also, it was often very difficult to reach them.
Slow, horrible and irresponsible. Avoid them at all cost. {para}They didn't file my visa application till the last minute and my work visa didn't come in time. I've lost three week's pay and yet I've never heard a single word of apology from them. I sent in all the required documents 5 months before my job start date but they filed the application only 4 weeks before. They're playing with people's lives and don't care how their incompetence hurts people financially and emotionally.
