Mr. Simons and his entire staff are very professional as well as personal in their care for their clients. In both instances that we have used Mr. Simons to represent us, he has always made us feel very comfortable, well cared for, and confident that we had the best representation possible. I would recommend Mr. Simons to family,friends, and even to strangers...he is very competent in his field.
David F. Simons and his office fought for my rights. I had my baby, went on maternity leave, was laid off and had no job to return to. David Simons fought for my rights and helped me tell the truth about what really happened. He's a strong attorney. He's the best there is on Hawaii. I am so thankful to have had his representation. I was scared of my situation, until David Simons took my case and helped me settle. He worked side by side with my doctor and my husband and I.
Simons charged 3 hours for a consultation fee that was to include a review of documents. During the meeting it was clear he had not read the materials carefully. His secretary suggested that I ask him about reducing his fee. When I did, he turned into a "Jeckle/Hyde" character, displaying "bipolar" symptoms and quickly retorted on the phone that he should charge me $950 an hour instead of the $475 an hour. He made other rude comments since my case wasn't going to be a big moneymaker for him.
