Dempsey, Roberts & Smith, Ltd. is a law firm established in 1992 with an office in Henderson, NV. At this office location, there are 9 lawyers practicing business law, commercial law, personal injury and 15 other areas of law.
Horrible. Working with the entire firm was a nightmare. The entire firm was very unprofessional, very disorganized, excuses upon excuses for why they were so disorganized. Spent a minimum of 15 minutes hold time each time I called in for my consultation appointment which made me late for my appointment and had the attorney calling me asking me where was i at, on hold. Given the worst, wrong advice ever, sloppy work, just all around horrible place. i reported the attorney to the bar. That place should not be in business.
Does not Recommend: Zero Stars if I could !, There intake Secretary / Legal Assistant or whatever/whoever she is tries to talk over and down on clients to the point of trying to de-emasculate men !, Very um-professional, would highly suggest finding another Law Firm that will treat you with respect !
Tried to blackmail my family and I while I was incarcerated by saying "I know you can get money on the outside." He said that $5k wasn't enough to get me out and that if I wanted to be freed I would have to pay another $5k. He didn't listen to me and offered a poor defense before attempting to persuade me to take a deal that was not in my favor. Luckily after not paying his blackmail I was able to get my case dismissed myself by having a court appointed attorney present a motion that I wrote.
Where do I begin? I have worked with Davis Miles, Parker Stanbury, various other firms in the past. My experience with them has been absolutely fine. However, I have had the misfortunate experience of having to work with "Dempsey, Roberts & Smith, Ltd." Joseph Dempsey (a Mexican born) has been absolutely horrible to me. He allows his secretary to belittle me when she seems quite uneducated. He last hung up on me when I told him I was paying to speak to an attorney, not idiot Vicky.UNPROFESSIONAL
