Mr. Walter was recommended to me by a police officer who had observed him in court several times, including appearances in difficult child custody/visitation cases, and for whom she had a lot of respect--especially after he was praised by the judge for his demeanor, organization, and professionalism. After consulting with him about my own child custody case, I felt at ease in the care of this casually confident and compassionate advocate, and trusted him to achieve the hoped for results. He communicated frequently and clearly, but was always mindful of the cost of his time, balancing such against the value for his client. He and his paralegal, Jana, were instrumental in helping my daughter finally get free from her abusive traumatic father and she is now healing and doing so much better not being forced to visit him. I had hired AND PAID a "family friend," with whom my family has hired in the past. She gave us a discounted ç xf þ⁵rate, as she usually did for my family & my Dad paid it. Apparently she got in to a little fight with my sister & she decided not to remind ģme of my court date 2 days from the next court date that was in another city (NN), as this one was in Hampton. Needless to say, I was given an FTA for not showing up to my NN court case. She did the same thing to my fiancée after that & he had paid her $1200 for his 2 cases. Clancy got me a bond in tone to spend Christmas with my Nanny, who had surgery right before I got out.. & then she had a very bad fall that resulted in her death. Now my dad's dying.

Hands down to the past family practice I've retained twice for custody in the last ten years. I had Rick Moschel back in 2011, Douglas Walter regarding my petition to move to San Diego in 2016. Won both cases!! I have always referred people to their practice. These lawyers are impeccable, they do their research, they are compassionate and they do not surrender.
