James Stanley has over 35 years’ experience in criminal and DUI law. He has handled thousands of criminal cases and has conducted over 150 jury trials to verdict. Mr. Stanley is a former Colorado Senior Deputy District Attorney. Mr. Stanley has a broad background of life experiences, including the following: Crewman on a helicopter search and rescue team with the U.S National Park Service, wild land firefighter with the U.S. Forest Service and the U.S. Department of Interior, sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps, with an Honorable Discharge and Professional forester in the Pacific Northwest for a major timber company.

His practice includes the entire front range area, including Jefferson, Denver, Arapahoe, Adams, Boulder, Douglas, Broomfield, Elbert, Gilpin, Kiowa, Larimer, Weld, Summit, Clear Creek, Park, Summit, Grand, El Paso, Eagle, Lake, Teller, Lakewood, Arvada and Golden. Mr. Stanley is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
