About R. Jeffrey "Jeff" Field

Jeff Field has spent his entire career handling bankruptcy cases for clients in Georgia. He has more than 30 years of experience successfully representing individuals throughout the state in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases.Jeff attended Berry College on a basketball scholarship and was student government president when he graduated in 1981. He earned his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1984, where he served on the Moot Court Board and Trial Advocacy Board. In 1985, Jeff began his career in consumer bankruptcy working for Paul C. Parker, who was an early leader in advertising bankruptcy as a helpful solution to many financial problems. Jeff was instrumental in helping Mr. Parker expand his bankruptcy practice from metropolitan Atlanta to representing individuals throughout all of North Georgia. Jeff left Mr. Parker’s firm in 1993 to found Jeff Field & Associates.

Jeff is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the State Bar of Alabama. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District and Middle District of Georgia. He is a member of the Metro Atlanta Bankruptcy Group and National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. He also serves on the Board of Visitors of Berry College.

I am not an eloquent writer, so I’m going to get to the point of highly recommending Jeff field and associates. What was an extremely stressful period of time not only did he, Jeff, but Connie were wonderful. Jeff put me totally at ease after my initial meeting with him. Throughout the process I spoke with Connie several times, and cannot say enough about her. She was extremely compassionate and professional, and basically guided me.

Mr Field was very knowledgeable about our issues and explained what he thought was the best way for us to take and how to protect our interests. Everyone there was very professional and answered our questions and always returned our phone calls the same day and that is very uncommon for most businesses that I have ever dealt with. For the work they do, I think they were very fair on their price. I would definitely recommend this law firm. Very happy with the whole process.

When finally deciding that bankruptcy was my only option I didn’t know where to turn. I simply googled bankruptcy attorneys and Jeff fields & Associates popped up and had pretty good ratings and reviews. It was all the positive reviews that help me know that this was the firm for me!
