My father passed away in 2023. I am a beneficiary and they (lawyer and executor) refuse to send copies of the legally mandated financial records from dad's estate. They got me to sign something I didn't understand when I was freshly out of the ICU. Now they will not provide documentation or explanation of what I signed and why. I still haven't seen my inheritance and my daughter has no access to whatever trust she was left. I don't know if my estranged brother got his share of inheritance since they won't send financial records I don't actually know for sure. Somehow dad's house was put into the heirs' names but we have no records to back up how this happened. They took advantage of my medical conditions to get me to okay and sign a bunch of stuff when dad died. Now they won't provide supporting documentation, so I can't get appropriate legal advice. This guy is also like the 3rd lawyer at the firm to work on the case and isn't even who dad hired. Terrible experience thusfar.
