Jonathan was professional and walked me through the law, procedures of the case and possible outcomes. He did an outstanding job of preparing me for court (his cross examination of me was much more challenging than the plaintiff's attorney). When I threw him a curveball during the trial he adapted in such a way that would make a U.S. Marine proud. Be ready for a man that is very focused and will give honest input about the case, whether it is something you want to hear or not; my partner and I came away from a couple conversations with different outlooks and strategies than when we went in. During the trial, which we tried to avoid with a settlement, Jonathan was focused, on point and always ready to argue in my favor during the inevitable objections by him or the plaintiff's attorney; he was tenacious. In the end I feel I was very well represented and could not have done better in the case with another attorney and likely a lot worse outcome if I had someone else representing me.
Jonathan Barash represented me in a lawsuit against two defendants and their business entities. The defendants promoted an investment program that solicited funds from many investors. When my Promissory Note was breached, Jon created a Settlement Agreement that was signed by all parties. When my Settlement Agreement was breached, Jon represented me in Federal Court. Based on Jon's approach to the case and the structure of his Settlement Agreement, I was awarded a judgment for principal, interest and attorney's fees. Shortly thereafter, one of the defendants listed real estate for sale. Jon presented the closing attorney with my Writ of Execution, and my judgment was paid in full at closing. To date, I'm not aware of any other creditors that have recovered their investments.
I was referred to Jon by a friend. I was told by my friend my case was in good hands. I'm very happy to say Jon studied my case thoroughly and came up with options on how to approach defense and explained Pros and cons of each option and finally came with best defense and won my case. Thank you Jon for taking care of my case.
We hired Mr. Thrift to assist our medical office with negotiating and drafting a new lease with our landlord. He was quick and fairly priced. Plan to use him again.
Needed a lawyer for software business and related contracts. Mr. Thrift was amazing at helping us out. Very well priced and professional. Highly recommend.

Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have either hired or consulted the lawyers or law firms.
The Client Review Rating score is determined through the aggregation of validated responses. People who submit reviews are either individuals who consulted with the lawyer/law firm or who hired the lawyer/law firm and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires a lawyer including in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners, and private individuals.
Martindale-Hubbell validates that a reviewer is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents must affirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client or have been a client of the lawyer or law firm identified, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the lawyer/client relationship as it is often confidential. The content of the responses is entirely from reviewers.

Martindale Peer Reviews
Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
