When one considers divorce. The overwhelming thought of hiring an Attorney to help with the burden and all the legal matters and who to hire. There are many lawyers out there to chose from but you have to protect yourself and find an Attorney that you feel comfortable with.{para}Not to mention the splitting up of families and assets that the couple have acquired together over the years and the huge financial burden that can come with this. When divorce hits you unexpectedly you find yourself scrambling to sort out your life. Finances, where to live, how to cope emotionally, and then there are the legal aspects to deal with. You need someone you can trust to help you navigate the process. That is what Jennifer Waterway did for me. She guided and educated me about the law and my rights. I always felt that she advocated for me especially through the process of dividing a marriage financially. She listened and helped me learn to think about divorce in terms of the legal aspects (when I was overwhelmed by emotions!). She helped me come to a reasonable result. I highly recommend her services. Thank you, Jennifer.

As a lawyer, I have high expectations when hiring another attorney. Jennifer was recommended to me by fellow attorneys who have a high level of respect for her, and I know why. My divorce was finalized in less than three months and she went above and beyond to protect me and my child(ren). She set us up for success and now I co-parent with my ex as well as anyone can hope, sharing major life events and holidays on a regular basis.

Would give -5 stars if I could!!!! Unethical Billing, Ignorance of Evidence, Zero Work Product, and Predatory Practices I strongly advise against hiring Jennifer Waterway for any family law matter. I initially retained her for a one-time appearance for a court date that was already on the docket. Just two days before the hearing, she canceled it, claiming she needed to review more files and instructing me to wait for a "to-do list" of additional work. After a week of stalling, the to-do list she finally sent was an exact, copy-and-paste duplicate of the files and documents I had already provided. Once I completed this redundant work and we were finally ready to file, she suddenly claimed my retainer had run out and demanded double the payment to proceed. The most egregious part of her representation was the damage she did to my case. She explicitly instructed me not to respond to any opposing filings and not to file any motions myself while I waited on her. Stay far away!

Run away from this greedy lawyer! Don’t walk! I witnessed firsthand, this lawyer take advantage of a vulnerable mother trying to address child custody only to see this lawyer seem to harm more than help! And the Mother’s abuser only got more emboldened! She takes thousands and thousands and them claims it was all blown on “emails” and other vague “paperwork”, then quits or demands another kids college fund essentially, to do more of what?! More of nothing!!! She’s got problems with the Florida Bar! She is sloppy, greedy and deceptive and predatory! Keep your money and go pro se! You can get poor and bankrupt and your kids abused for free instead! This lawyer gets a heck no from me! Run!
