Hiring Howard Kahn was the WORST business decision I have ever made. In my opinion, he is a pathological liar, a thief, and will do everything in his power to take every last dollar his client has. He represented me in a large business dispute. He told me I was entitled to significant damages. The case remained in litigation for 10 years, throughout which Mr. Kahn billed me a fortune. I repeatedly questioned him about the merits of my case, and whether it was worth the money I was paying him. He always responded that I should continue the case, and I foolishly trusted him. Then, after 10 years of litigation (and nearly $1,000,000 of attorney fees and litigation costs), he abruptly withdrew from the case, saying he had a health issue. When I later shopped the case around with other lawyers, I was told that Mr. Kahn was charging me all along to pursue certain damages that cannot even be recovered under Florida law, and my case was worth little. It was a total nightmare.
