Had a great experience working with Melannie Dino and Margaret Stanley over at Livesay and Myers. Would highly recommend for anybody that needs a pre-nup or post-nup agreement. Melannie and her team were very responsive, thorough, and understanding of the situation. This along with great communication help me get the help I was looking for.

I returned to L&M to handle a rough case in which my now ex-wife had violated our divorce agreement and, instead of simply negotiating, sought to alter our existing 50/50 custody, if not re-litigate our divorce, to distract from this. I worked with Amanda Stone Swart. From the start, Amanda had a strategy in mind on how to let truth emerge if it went to trial. I endured discovery - something that wasn’t necessary during my divorce. Amanda’s paralegal, Danielle Humiston, was also integral to the success of my case. She is incredibly professional, organized and efficient and helped me throughout the process, especially during the painful discovery phase. Amanda was intent on seeking the best outcome for me. While we had a sound case that I could have “won” at trial, she helped me understand the cost/benefit of proceeding to trial vs. settling. Worked very well with Ms. Sarah Patras to get my legal separation completed with a signed PSA. Her paralegal, Ms. Ashley Kile helped maintain continuity and had great response time between Ms. Patras' busy schedule. Ms. Patras helped me parse out the emotional aspect of a separation from the legal aspect and kept me focused on coming to an agreeable solution both sides agreed upon and avoided court. I will be re-enlisting her services for filing the final divorce paperwork once I complete the one year waiting period.

Ms Dino and Ms Stanley were incredibly responsive and helpful. It was pretty unbelievable for professionals in this field, where there are a lot of demands from multiple directions. I worked with both Ms. Salerno and Ms. Tran. I was surprised served with a contested divorce and was terrified of how I was going to see my way through the mess that my ex was throwing at me. Ms. Salerno was responsive and easy to talk to, explaining and guiding me with compassion and patience. They both were professional and caring. They were also well versed in what to do with the complications that come with a 20 year military marriage. Both were smart, quick and always willing to explain all of my options. They knew that money was an issue for me, and always gave me the option do save a penny or two where I could, which I appreciated. I can't recommend them enough. I worked with two attorneys and two paralegals at Livesay & Myers for a no-fault divorce, and everyone was excellent. Working with Jennifer Williams and Margaret Stanley (Gigi) was a pleasure. They made this divorce process seamless. I never had to ask any question, every email that I received explained in detail what was happening and at what stage the process was in. They always responded in a timely matter and interacted with the other party on my behalf which was a big deal for me. I searched for multiple firms online to help me with my prenuptial agreement, and chose Livesay and Myers attorney Joe Menze because of his professionalism and demeanor during our initial consultation. While I did have a consultation with another firm, I felt more comfortable at Livesay and Myers after a disappointing experience with the other firm. Joe was able to ask me just the right questions during the initial consult to make the first draft of the prenup very close to what I needed, so it needed minimal revisions. Both Joe Menze and paralegal Tammy Smith were great to work with, they responded quickly to my emails requesting revisions in the agreement, and I am satisfied that the agreement turned out well. They were very professional, never reaching out to me in unexpected forms of communication (which the other firm did- which is why I did not hire them). I would definitely recommend Joe Menze and Tammy Smith to others.
