She achieved what I thought was impossible, and I am so grateful to her. Of course, her legal skills are excellent. But from a client perspective, I think her best asset is that she is honest and direct, even blunt. This may be jarring to some people, but it is an excellent way to manage a client's expectations and to prepare them to interact with opposing counsel.
