Don?t get married. In fact if you consider marriage, see a lawyer to obtain a prenuptial agreement so as to protect your separate property from any of his creditors.

How long does it take to receive an inheritance?

Answered by attorney Charles Richard Perry (Unclaimed Profile)
Estate Planning lawyer at Charles R. Perry
You should probably hire an attorney to help you. Two years is not unheard of for a probate, but it is not reasonable where the estate is not contested. If there is a probate, then there should be papers on file in the court for the county where your grandmother lived. A review of those papers might be helpful.
