King Law in Rocky Mount handled a personal injury claim for me in the past. Just recently, however, they closed a complex real estate transaction for me and did so in a timely manner. The initial consultation took place 2 days after I called the office. My meeting was with Attorney C. Crawford, a local “neighbor.” I was impressed with her down-home friendliness and positivity and left satisfied I was putting my business into experienced, competent hands. The stress was off of me. One month later I walked out with a payment check in hand. As mentioned, this was a complicated sales transaction. It seems much research is done via computer nowadays, and the firm actually required little more information from me. That being said, the sale was essentially effortless on my part once I turned it over to King Law. I highly recommend.

Atty Kevin Heckart was a Godsend to me. I literally hired him the evening prior to my case and was completely stressed, thought for sure I'd have an unfavorable outcome. He was able to get my case handled quickly and I was VERY pleased with the outcome. He didnt charge an outrageous amount like some lawyers. He was very knowledgeable and comforting throughout the short time I gave hime to prepare. Ken is "with the Program" so to speak. He tells you like it is, and his experience in workers comp. matters helps him get the job done to your satisfaction. People answering phones/making calls to contact you were another matter.

This was a work related personal injury case. While I was in therapy to return to work, I was in an automobile accident that permanently disabled me. This put the firm in a difficult position of defending my case for my on the job injury. However, during the arbitration, they were able to secure a just compensation.

They really had the drive to get the best outcome for me in my settlement. An Robert is very good at getting to the point an is not a push over when it came to my case. Took a little too long I thought to settle, but overall they were pretty good.

For me they were not as helpful as I thought they should be. They would ask me about getting medical records in regards to if they should get copies of them or not. I would have thought they would have known what they needed since they do a great many Disability Claims. I had not met with the attorney until right before my hearing which made me uncomfortable. I just feel that things could have been handled in a more effective way and less stressful for their clients.
