Hired Attorney Matthew Roark

Matt handled my daughters case above and beyond. From prosecutor to defense, he's a a fighter and knowledgeable in the courtroom. In her case, he talked directly to her and told her she was his first priority. He stuck to his word. He put her well-being first. Matt defended her with professionalism, realism, kindness and honesty. I really appreciated his ease to breakdown those "courtroom terms" that were confusing to us. He was very patient with my worries and replied quickly. I highly recommend Mr. Roark not only for his former experience, but because what he says, HE DOES.

Brandon has helped me with two cases. His caring and understanding is unparalleled. He was so gracious with his time and concern for me and my wellbeing. I can’t recommend Brandon highly enough. Top notch legal representation by a truly wonderful human being.

My lawyer only showed up one time in court for my divorce case and never offered anything in my defense. When I met with him, in the beginning, he said he could get me more than I was asking. I got hung out to dry and he didn't even show up on the last day of the case then either. Instead, I got a letter he dismissed me as a client 2 weeks after I paid him off and once again, I had no one there to represent me. I tried to send financial records by text after email failed. But, they weren't used. Yes, I'm extremely Disappointed!!

Skip to main content My reviews Brandon Potter A unique and interesting perspective behind the scenes of BFP Law Firm - a review from both a current BFP employee & client Review for Brandon Potter | Submitted on 4/8/26 (Review Approved) Edit Not only was I a client of Brandon A.Potter, Esq. I was his employee serving him in the role of Intake Specialist for his law firm BFP Law Firm, P.C., headquartered in Elizabethton, TN located at 411 Bemberg Dr. ( purchased recently) . I am not for sure but I think this fool who I will only refer to from here on out as B, has been practicing law for the last 10 years ?? When I say "practicing" B when I meet him has not actually stood up in a court room and argued a case for years! In my role as Intake Specialist I work with B directly in a tag team. As Intake Specialist, I stand at the gate of where leads flow into his firm and begin their journey on what I have dubbed the Lead to Client Lifecycle. I have created a very simplistic concept to commun

Review Text: "Terrible representation from Brennan Lenihan. I provided the partners at BFP Law with direct evidence of misconduct, yet they refused to take accountability and kept my legal fees anyway. Their lack of integrity and refusal to address clear ethical issues is unacceptable. I have filed formal complaints with the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility (BPR) and the Better Business Bureau. I strongly advise others to look elsewhere for ethical legal counsel

Hired Attorney Micheal Talley

On our very first meeting I handed him documents that were important in my divorce case and asked for copies. He lost them and tried to make me think I never gave him the documents. I was going through a divorce and told him many concerns and issues I had with the proccedings and he didnt acknowledge or reply to any of them. Right now as of this review I sent him an email for copies of not only all our emails but all the documents I gave him. I paid upfront over 9k and that was very difficult on fixed income as a disabled veteran and he didn't answer any questions I had during my whole divorce. Luckily every concern I had I put in an email so as of this point I have asked him to not only review the emails and send them to me but all the documents I gave him. Would not recommend him to anyone going through a divorce because he has 0 empathy or concern for his clients.

Hired Attorney Mr. Chase Baker Esq.

I’d like to share my sad experience with attorney Chase Alan Baker. I am a simple, uneducated woman without any assets. Even to pay Mr. Baker’s fee I had to borrow money from somebody else. So, below is my story. In the fall of last year I made an unfortunate decision to divorce my husband and approached Mr. Baker asked him to arrange it. Mr. Baker promptly charged me $7,000 non-refundable fee. I have had the simplest case of divorce w/o minores. For comparison my husband was charged by his attorney just $4,500 and at the end of the ordeal his attorney gave him a refund of $1,500 along with a timesheet of the hours he spent on the case. This is how things should be done. To make a long story short, a month after filing for divorce I reconciled with my husband and we are again a happy family. However, my $7,000 has gone. Mr. Baker keeps an entire amount, claiming that it is non-refundable. His firm didn’t spend much time with me. I had two telephone conferences; each one an hour long a
