Chase Baker was born and raised in Elizabethton, Tennessee. Chase attended East Tennessee State University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Communications Studies. While attending East Tennessee State University, Chase was on the Executive Board of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, a Senator for the Student Government Association, and an orientation leader. Chase received academic awards including being honored on the Dean’s List. Additionally, while obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree, Chase raised and trained American Quarter Horses, earning a national championship and the Justin Boots Rookie of the Year for 2013.Following college, Chase attended Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law in Knoxville, Tennessee on a full academic scholarship. While attending the Duncan School of Law, Chase competed in Washington, D.C. for the mock trial team and was a Dean’s Fellow where his duties included mentoring students and holding seminars on contracts and family law. During his time at the Duncan School of Law, Chase was personally mentored by the former Chief Justice of the Tennessee Supreme Court, Justice Gary Wade.In 2019, Chase began practicing law in Greeneville, Tennessee with the law firm of Foster and Potter, P.C. Chase is a member of the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and Tennessee Bar Association. During his time practicing law, Chase has handled a wealth of criminal defense and family law cases garnering the experience necessary to successfully meet the needs of his clients.

Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer.I’d like to share my sad experience with attorney Chase Alan Baker. I am a simple, uneducated woman without any assets. Even to pay Mr. Baker’s fee I had to borrow money from somebody else. So, below is my story. In the fall of last year I made an unfortunate decision to divorce my husband and approached Mr. Baker asked him to arrange it. Mr. Baker promptly charged me $7,000 non-refundable fee. I have had the simplest case of divorce w/o minores. For comparison my husband was charged by his attorney just $4,500 and at the end of the ordeal his attorney gave him a refund of $1,500 along with a timesheet of the hours he spent on the case. This is how things should be done. To make a long story short, a month after filing for divorce I reconciled with my husband and we are again a happy family. However, my $7,000 has gone. Mr. Baker keeps an entire amount, claiming that it is non-refundable. His firm didn’t spend much time with me. I had two telephone conferences; each one an hour long a
