Although I was seeking SSD I was awarded SS. It took about 5 months and could once again pay my bills. SS wasn't what I expected so they didn't charge me one penny.
They are very nice but they failed to communicate with us and that was not to my satisfaction.
They were slow to respond to my phone calls. The day of my hearing could have been a disaster. I was waiting to see the judge at 11 am, I never had an idea my lawyer was in the building until I asked a security guard whats going on. A phone call from my attorney would have been nice. I get a call from Mr. Parra 20 days from the hearing while I was having surgery, he stated his office never got any paperwork from the Phoenix hospitals/clinics. Therefore I had to do it for them & pay for it.
My wife and I had filed once, and been rejected. We turned all the paperwork over to a Diamond legal rep out of Austin, Texas. He did nothing but file the papers; he never attempted to contact us, and had no input or interaction with us once the pares were filed.
This firm has done nothing for me but won't release themselves off my SSDI claim. I've done the paperwork. All they did was re-type what I filled out. I then knew that I was doing all the work and they only wanted the money. I'm filing with the Bar. This is ridiculous.
I do not believe the reviews that are positive. This is an extremely corrupt and greedy law firm that preys on people with disability. Do not sign a contract with this law firm because they do not represent their clients but rather represent their access to profits. When will their predatory practices be investigated and outed?
