Hired Attorney Lisa F. Starrett

Talk about unprofessional and disrespectful. I advise you not to call this guy. 1. The demand letter we requested he write up was very soft. I had to ask him to sound a little stronger and more legal language in order to get the point across that we needed the funds back or else we would seek legal action. 2. His grammar was off, I had to correct it and send it back as a copy and paste. 3. He copied and pasted my email and didn't match the fonts so it actually looked like a copy and paste. 4. I send him approval to send the email and he never sent him. When I followed up with him he said he never got my approval so I sent him a snapshot of the approval. 5. When I had a call with him he was very defensive and rude, I responded this is why you have such negative reviews online and he called me Karen and hung up on me. I have called prepaid legal to report him but until then, RUN!

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

Lawyers who have received peer reviews after 2009 will display more detailed information, including practice areas, summary ratings, detailed numeric ratings and written feedback (if available). Details for individual reviews received before 2009 are not displayed.

Attorneys that receive reviews from their peers, but not a sufficient number to establish a Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating, will have those reviews display on our websites.
