I felt the need to switch legal counsel was because I had previously experienced both poor communication regarding expectations, and underhanded fees. I was thankful to get to engage with a firm like Sherer Law because I felt personally heard, perceived a balance of professionalism and candor, with services offered at an affordable price during what ended up being one of the most tumultuous times of my life. This organization is one who is willing to provide quality service while holding themselves to a standard that puts their clientele first in all ways. Most impressively, when they made a minor error, they took it upon themselves to own and remedy it at no additional cost to me. That showed me they care about ME, not a bottom line and that's a huge deal. It's without reservation that I recommend Sherer Law.
She drew the entire thing out and upon firing her, i received my divorce and custody of my child the following week without her services
Expensive and worthless. If we could do it all over again, we would never ever use. She has no understanding of family issues or dynamics and would never use her as a counselor for anything. Do not waste your time or money.
Caitlin did not finish the job. Paid them for mediation. They performed the mediation but never sent the summary to attorneys. Didn't answer client or attorney emails & phone calls for 6 months. May as well have done nothing.
Barb Sherer in my opinion took advantage of my naive mentality to how law/court system works. Long story short I was the defendant, 100% innocent of owing my ex anything when she served me with papers 9 months before child support was to end. Unfortunately sought counsel with Barb & submitted evidence by the courts that I had voluntarily over paid from original child support agreement by a substantial amount. Never missed a payment for 18 yrs neither. 1.5 years spent approx 19K to Barb only to end up being my own lawyer. Majority was due to the bill being run up by her for canceling court dates she would blame me for not keeping her $1500 retainer fee current. While day one she knew I was innocent but I was the defendant not the one seeking money. So therefore that’s how I believe she’s not at all about helping innocent defendants with proof as I am a living example of it. Should of been over before it began but Instead I naively let this happen. Do Not Hire BARB SHERER! All Truth!
