This started out as a great place and had no complaints. The lawyer I had got a new job and left just before the divorce was finalized. Even though I had an issue with some items in the final judgment, I was told I only had an hour to sign the document. I was told that these can be fixed after the judgement was signed. However, when it came time to change the things, I was told by Carrie Huff that she can no longer help me with the changes. After talking to another lawyer, they wondered why the changes were not made before papers were signed. Now I am spending more money on a different lawyer to get this fixed when it should have been done before everything was over. It's been 3 months since I've seen my kids. This all could have been prevented when I was at Gallagher Law firm. It's like they don't care about you as a person.
Craig Gerard of GLF was hired by sister in law who ignored recorded directions from my parents to have GLF create a different advance directive. Initially, all was set up 50/50 between 2 siblings. SIL then (I feel) went against the recorded directive and coached my parents to tell Mr. Gerard from GLF that they wished to have the forms drawn up a different way. This has not only voided my limited POA, I am unable to contact or communicate with parent's physicians or financial institutions to assist them. Upon reaching out to Mr. Gerard we found him to be arrogant, unprofessional and stated that "your parents are my clients, not you" before he abruptly ended the call. Tried a second time with my father next to me asking Mr. Gerard to clarify his documents. This time Mr. Gerard sternly stated that "I stand by the documents that I created" before hanging up on HIS client and son.
