When my court visits are done, will I get the $1,000.00 less fees or does the bondsman keep it, pocketing $2,063.00?

Hudson Thomas Bair
Answered by attorney Hudson Thomas Bair (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Kapsack & Bair, LLP
You should call your bail bondsman, usually they charge 10% plus fees, your situation seems extreme or your bail was actually $10,000 and you posted 10% plus fees.

I am wanting to re enlist in the arm but I have a DUI if I have my DUI sealed or expunged would I be able to?

You can't have it sealed , but you can get it expunged. That may help with the Army. You need to ask your recruiter, since it is his decision, based on his chain of command rules. Doing it will help you in private employment the rest of your life.

How long should my license be suspended for a refusal to blow (breathalyzer)?

Answered by attorney Steven Jed Alpers (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Steven J. Alpers, A Professional Corporation
If one was 12 years old then that is not going to be considered. If it is a 2nd within 10 years then your license will be suspended for 2 years, if the other one was within 10 years then it would be a 3 year suspension.
