I’ve paid two months now on my ID ON A CAR THATS BEEN DOWN FOR 2 months, if I rid of the car what would happen to my license?

Hudson Thomas Bair
Answered by attorney Hudson Thomas Bair (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Kapsack & Bair, LLP
You can sell the car and file an exemption with the DMV, the IID requirement will remain in effect for any other car you may drive BUT you wont have to pay for the device on your car, since you won't own one.

If my BAC is under the legal limit, what will happen to my CDL?

Was the blood test done? Yes, then it is not a refusal. No, then it is a refusal. If neither the blood or breath was performed, how do you know it was under the legal limit? You need to consult with an attorney to figure out what else is on your license and what might happen with the DUI case. DUI typically means no CDL.

They would not be drug tested at court, but it is possible that the judge would order that the defendant be drug tested through tasc, probation, or anything similar. If they have a case pending, it is best to stop smoking,
