If I'm going to plead guilty to a DUI, do I need an attorney?

Answered by attorney Patrick Owen Earl
DUI/DWI lawyer at Patrick O. Earl
In my opinion it is crazy to represent yourself on any criminal matter. If you don't have the money to hire an attorney apply for a court appointed attorney.? They are great lawyers. Don't do this on your own.

How do I get licenses back when there's no record of me getting anything besides seat belt ticket?

Answered by attorney Lucio Antonio Montes (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at The Montes Law Firm
You likely have a warrant for your arrest for the DWI. The DWI would be handled by a county court. The no seat belt ticket would handled by a municipal or justice of the peace. You should contact a criminal defense attorney to look into your possible warrant for tge DWI before you attempt to renew your license.

What happens if I do not show up to complete a 45-day jail sentence after having probation revoked?

DUI/DWI lawyer at Freeborn Law Offices P.S.
Maximum penalty for a OWI is 1 year in jail. Since you were ordered to do 45 and you didn't , I would suspect that you could look at double that amount of time.
