I'm on probation for a DUI and I have been pulled over 3 times for driving on a suspended license. When I go to court, will I get any jail time?

Answered by attorney Patrick Owen Earl
DUI/DWI lawyer at Patrick O. Earl
If you were driving without a license (or suspended) and didn't have insurance at the time you are subject to 30 days in jail for each violation.

Can I avoid jail on my third DUI?

You should see an attorney, depending on your jurisdiction it may be that the other 2 infractions, which are significantly into your past, may or may not be used as enhancements. If you are charged with a drinking and driving third it is most probable that you will get some incarceration. See an attorney now!

Should I plead no contest to DWSL?

default-avatar
Answered by attorney Thomas B. Baynton (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at The Law Office of Thomas B. Baynton
Do not plea, period, until you get more information. You would have received a 90 day suspension for the OWVI. At the end of the suspension you would need to pay a reinstatement fee to get your license back. You did not state when the suspension started. You should be able to, at the worse, plea this down to an offense that does not result in additional suspensions or driver responsibility fees, if you cannot beat the charge. Use the court appointed attorney or hire counsel if you can afford it.
