In SC, it sounds like you certainly may have a case to get a restraining order taken out against this person. You should consult with a local attorney as soon as possible regarding this matter.

It can be tried without a defense attorney, because the state is NOT required to provide an attorney to a person that has enough money to drive an insured vehicle.

Can you be sentenced to prison for a probation violation?

Jared Clayton Austin
Answered by attorney Jared Clayton Austin (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Austin Legal Services, PLC
If probation is revoked, the judge can re-sentence you up to the maximum amount allowed by law for the offense that placed you on probation. If the probation is for a felony, then prison is possible. If the offense is a misdemeanor punishable by no more than one year in the county jail, then the judge cannot sentence you to prison.
