Was there probable cause for law enforcement to approach my parked but running car and proceed to arrest for DUI?

Your question requires an attorney consultation. It is not a simple question that can be answered on this type of forum. There are many factors that would need to be considered and evaluated. The short answer is possibly. If he saw you parked for an extended period of time, he could have probably cause to investigate why you were their. I strongly suggest that you contact an experienced criminal defense attorney for a face-to-face consultation and give him/her all of the facts surrounding your situation. He/she would then be in a better position to analyze your case and advise you of your options.

Can the police kick in your door over a probation violation?

Answered by attorney Joshua James Price
DUI/DWI lawyer at Defending Rights Law Center
Ok, there needs to be many, many more facts to give a response to this answer. Did they have an arrest warrant? If probation is revoked, the police can arrest, but typically they need an arrest warrant. Contact a local attorney who will do a free consult to go over.

Is it possible to get one or both of my DUIs expunged?

Maybe someone else will offer detailed information. In general in California misdemeanor convictions can be expunged after completing probation uneventfully, as you have. Go to google and do a search such as"California misdemeanor expungment". A form should be available. You send it to the county of your conviction with proof of service on the District Attorney. This is a simple process.
