She's very nice and easier to understand when she's taking your money the first day you go in. After that, she mostly acts like she doesn't have the time of day for you, forgets things she's told you she would do. She told me that she would file for my divorce on the first day that she could. The next time I talked to her about it, I had to ask again, and she forgot or acted like she forgot that she told me it would already be done.

Hired Law Firm

I hired this firm to do a QDRO. They cashed my check the day of hire. It took almost 10 months for the QDRO to be filed with the court. After there were complications with plan administrators and I never received my funds. Ms. Gillepsie's reponse - I hired her to file a QDRO, not to assist past that. Her attitude was condescending through the entire process. My QDRO may have been more difficult than average, but an attorney should be equipped for this. My case was mostly shoved off on her paralegal, who resorted to corresponding with my ex to help her figure out how to proceed. If I pushed for information I was made to feel like an annoyance. Call me old fashioned, but when you spend 2k it is not unreasonable to anticipate a resolution to your problem. A yr later I paid 2k to another attorney and finally got results. This was one of the most frustrating experiences of my life, and a huge waste of time and money. 1 year wasted, then having to start over with someone else. BEWARE.

Hired Law Firm

If you need an aggressive attorney that will be on your side, that will protect your rights, tell you what your rights are, and get your case resolved quickly...he is NOT the attorney for you. We spent 10 weeks working with him to help us for an issue that needed prompt protection of our rights. He was very slow to reply to emails or phone calls. He refused to answer ANY emails or questions from my wife. We had to send him the same questions and requests repeatedly. He is not in any way willing to contact the other party in issue in any other way than by USPS mail...even when the other party will not take the mail and denies ever getting any mail. He is very passive to the point of failure to provide assistance. We wasted our time with him and had to hire a different attorney that was willing to actually do the work. So, if you need somehting simple that is not time sensitive, he may be okay for you.
