The answer to your question depends on how your Judgment of Divorce is written.  I would need to see the Judgment and get more information regarding your exwife to answer your inquiry. Wade P Jackman P36439 Attorney 248-594-9991

Can I still get child support for my son who is turning 18 this August since he is going to college in the Fall?

Rita Jean Jencks
Answered by attorney Rita Jean Jencks (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Jencks Law Firm P.L.L.C.
In Oklahoma, child support ceases once the child turns 18 and graduates from high school or an acceptable alternative high school. The courts cannot order child support to be paid for the child while in college unless the parties agreed to that issue and it is in the original divorce decree. The court can enforce an agreement that was in the court order, but cannot order continued support on its own.
