Where do we stand as being married or are we legally separated if we reconciled before completing divorce?

The court will not have acted on your case unless you submitted papers for a hearing or a default judgment. You need to determine if a new petition needs to be filed, you did not say if you were separated for weeks, months or years before reconciling. If it is years you need to at least do an amended petition because the are probably additional community property or community debts .

If my husband filed for a dissolution of marriage form FL-100 over a year ago, I have never gone to court, what does this mean?

The FL-100 Form is the Petition requesting Dissolution of Marriage. This must be properly served on you with the Summons (Family Law) Form FL-110. If this is the only form filed, you are probably not divorced. If you did not file a Response, the next notice you should receive is a Request to Enter Default FL165, with Declaration of Service of Preliminary Declaration of Disclosure, Schedule of Assets & Debts, and Income & Expense Declaration, Notice of Entry of Judgment and Judgment of Dissolution of Marriage.

Can my ex file for a divorce even though I have already served her with divorce papers?

Nothing would prevent the filing. However, you can either request that the second filed case be dismissed or that it be consolidated (joined together) with your case as the lead case. I also request that each Petition be deemed the response to the other to save court fees.
