How do I divorce someone who is in prison in another state?

Stephen Paul Levine

It is fairly simple to have him served in the prison he is in You would file a Petition in your state then have him served and wait the 30 days and then file a Request for Default what could he possibly contest after 16 years of separation?

If child support services department is involved, no. They will keep track of your payments, but keep your own records in case a mistake is made.

With the petition and summons, should I include Preliminary Disclosure even if wife has hid all of her account information for six years?

Robert Joseph Merlin
Answered by attorney Robert Joseph Merlin (Unclaimed Profile)

You do not have to file your Mandatory with your Petition. It is due 45 days after your wife is served. The downside of not specifically valuing both of your bank accounts is that you may be foregoing some assets that you are entitled to receive.
