Find an attorney. Your name is on the deed so you are an owner. File a paternity action for custody. Talk to an attorney about whether house can be handled under paternity action or whether you need a civil attorney.

About how long does it take to get papers back from the time they were filed and then served?

Robert Joseph Merlin

That can vary from court to court. I suggest that you call your courthouse where they were filed to follow up on it. Some papers should be available to see on line.

What is my marital status if we got married then had an annulment?

Generally, if your marriage was outside the US, and the annulment was outside the US, if the annulment was legal and valid in the jurisdiction in which it was issued, the US would probably give it comity treat it as a valid annulment. Your "status" would depend on the options offered, but generally if the options were only single, married, divorced, widowed, you would probably be classified as single. Consult with an immigration attorney to discuss the specifics of your situation and your options.
