If she and the children are in Florida she is considered dead as of the date of the divorce. The children have an interest in the Father's estate, along with the current Wife. If they live out of Florida that state may have different laws.

File a complaint with the court and get a summons issued. Hire a process server to serve it on him. Contact his friends and relatives to find out where he lives. If you have exhausted, and I mean exhausted, all efforts to find him, you then ask the court to allow you to serve him by publication.
